What is the sun turned black like sackcloth?

 

In Revelation chapter 5, a scroll sealed with seven seals in the right hand of God that no one was found worthy to open is opened in Revelation chapter 6!

'Sealed' means it is prophecy,

 

but Jesus opened the scroll, meaning Jesus made the fulfilled realities of that prophecy appear.

 

However, the realities after the opening of the scroll are to do with judgment alone, and the sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair!

 

Then, why did judgment happen? Who was judged, and why?

 

Moreover, in Revelation chapter 6, it is said that the sun, moon and stars in the sky became dark and fell to the earth. Does this mean the literal sun, moon and stars in the sky fell to the earth?
