Shincheonji Youth Volunteer, WE ARE ONE, succeeded in setting a Guinness World Record! From October 1st to 2nd, 71,121 blood donor applications were completed in 24 hours. This is about seven times larger than the previous world record set by 10,217 people in India.

 

The particular challenge was securing reservations for a large group of 70,000 people without posing a hindrance to others who already made existing blood donation reservations. Therefore, the reservation schedule was operated without overloading the server by meticulously conducting preliminary reviews and rehearsals with the Korean Red Cross.

WE ARE ONE conducted this Guinness Challenge to encourage young people around the world to donate blood with an awareness of the national blood crisis caused by COVID-19. In addition, in order to prevent 71,121 reservation requests from ending with a mere promise, WE ARE ONE has been actively participating in giving blood through the

'Life ON Youth ON'
