★The reality of the religious world at the 2nd Coming

John 9:4~5

4.     As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.

5.     While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

Rev 18:2-3

2.     With a mighty voice he shouted: "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.

3.     For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries."

5.and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

6. To him loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.



A kingdom and priests:

 The sealed 144,000 of New Spiritual Israel (Rev 5:9-10)

 

★The promise (old covenant) with physical Israel

Exodus 19:5-6

5.Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,

6.you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites."

 

Result : PROMISE broken!


Exodus 19:5-6 Physical Israel boke the covenant

Isaiah ~ Malachi God made known future events through the Old Testament prophets

Jeramiah 31:31-32 God promised to make a new covenant

Luke 22:14-20 Jesus made a new covenant and promised to come back to those who keep the new covenant



★Those who keep the new covenant (Heb 8:8-10)

8.But God found fault with the people and said: "The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

9. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord.

10.This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

7. Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

Coming with the clouds : Jesus will come back invisibly in spirit

Those who pierced him : Those who persecuted the pastor promised by Jesus

The Alpha and the Omega :

= the beginning and the end

= God, who started to restore his lost kingdom after Adam’s sin, will complete everything by fulfilling the book of Revelation

BIBLE STUDY : SEVEN TRUMPET SOUNDS

All the people of the world! See this banner and hear this trumpet sound. This trumpet sound is the sound made when the seven seals of Revelation are broken. By breaking the seven seals, Jesus opens the scroll, so the word written in it is shown and read. The seven trumpet sounds are the voices of those who testify to the word and its fulfilled realities after having seen them. Thus, the sound is made only after all seven seals are broken, the scroll is opened, and the contents are shown so that they can be read. The seven trumpets are seven people , those who blow the trumpets are angels, and those who gave the command were God and Jesus (Isa 58).
