WISE QUESTION 8: How was the Bible written? What proves that it is God’s word?

How was the Bible written?

What proves that it is God’s word?

God began recording the Bible approximately four thousand years ago during the time of Moses.

God made known to Moses the world which existed prior to Moses time.

God used people to write the sixty-six books of the Bible on His behalf;

therefore,

God is the author.

The reason why God made known what is recorded was so that people could come to know and understand the reality of the true God, the devil and people who have sinned in order to bring people back to God, lead people from what is evil to life and give people salvation.

The contents of the Bible can be generally divided into history, teaching, prophecy and fulfillment.

The following is an explanation which proves the Bible is Gods word.

The Bible is a record of the revelations the prophets received.

It is a history book which records what God did in the past.

To say that Gods prophecy, which is recorded inside this history book, was fulfilled accordingly is proof that the Bible is Gods word.

God made a promise (prophecy) to Abraham, and according to that promise he came to Moses 400 years later to fulfil that promise. Before Jesus appeared, God prophesied about a Savior through the Old Testament prophets.

A few hundred years later, according to the promised prophecies, God came to Jesus and fulfilled all the prophecies (Jn 19:30).

Jn 19:30

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

To say something appeared according to prophecy is proof that God and the prophets existed. What is fulfilled is the promised prophecy.

This prophecy is the revelation the prophets received and recorded and what God gave to the prophets.

The one who prophesies and the one who fulfills the prophecy is God.

The people who recorded what they heard and saw from God were the prophets.

History and the physical fulfillment of the prophecies testify to this.

Isaiah 14:24.

The LORD Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.

It is said, if anyone adds or takes away the words of the Revelation, that person cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven but being cursed (Rv.22:18~19).  Thus, Revelation is important because one can enter the Kingdom of Heaven only if one does not add to or subtract from it.  To not add to or subtract from the Revelation, one must know the Revelation perfectly and what about you?                                           🙏🙏🙏 Can you say that you are not adding to or subtracting from the Revelation? ▶️ Jan. 17th Event [Ulsan] Shincheonji's Bible Seminar · Topic: Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation · When: Wednesday, 17, JAN. 2024, 12 PM (GMT+9) · Lecturer: Chairman Lee Man-hee · Live & Replay Link https://youtube.com/live/7kEyfjXejsw ▶️  #Belief #God #Jesu...

The Testimony of the Fulfillment of the Prophecies of the Book of Revelation

God wrote the book of Revelation, and He was holding it in His hand after sealing it by putting seven seals on it. Hence, there had been no one in heaven or on earth who understood the prophecies of this book (Rv 5:1-3). However, today, after approximately 2,000 years have passed since it had been written, Jesus took this book (Rv 5:7), removed all of the seven seals, and fulfilled the prophecies written in the book, and their actual entities appeared as a result. See and verify this.     🔖   I am the one who saw and heard all of the events of Rv 1-22 at Jesus’ side when he fulfilled this book, Revelation (Rv 22:8).   Thus, I am the messenger Jesus sent to the churches to testify about what I have seen and heard (Rv 22:16).   💕  💕  💕    It says that if one adds to or...
