Types Of Pasta

Pasta is a type of food typically made from an unleavened dough of wheat flour mixed with water or eggs, and formed into sheets or other shapes, then cooked by boiling or baking.

Rice flour, or legumes such as beans or lentils, are sometimes used in place of wheat flour to yield a different taste and texture, or as a gluten-free alternative. Pasta is a staple food of Italian cuisine.

Where did Pasta come from?

The term “Pasta” is uniquely Italian, but pasta probably didn’t originate in Italy. It likely came in the form of noodles from somewhere in Asia brought by traders many centuries ago.

Some sources credit Marco Polo with bringing pasta back from China, but this is likely centuries too late as trade routes between Asia and Europe predated him.

Now, what happened with those noodles once they got to Italy is another story.

The many types of Italian pasta we know today are due largely to the ingenuity of the Italians.

How is Pasta Made?

Pasta is normally made with flour, eggs, and water though the egg is omitted in many pasta types, and other ingredients such as rice flour or legumes are occasionally used.

The most common flour used is semolina, a coarse flour produced from durum wheat.

There are two ways to turn the dough into pasta:

1. The first way of making pasta is rolling and cutting. This is pretty self explanatory as the dough is rolled flat and cut.
2. The second way of making pasta is extruding. With extruding the soft dough is forced through a die that produces the desired shape.
Types Of Pasta

There are almost over 300 types of pasta and easily 1,200 pasta names, as so many have an Italian name and one or more regional names.

Italian pasta names generally end in “ini, elli, illi, etti, ine, and elle which all denote “small”.

Shincheonji is the Best of All Creations between Heaven and Earth

The one and only God created heaven and earth and everything in them.   #Revelation_I_Have_seen_and_Heard #ShincheonjiOnlineSeminar #Hit_29million_views   As the snake (one of the creations) and Adam sinned, God the creator left this earth (the world). Since then this earth has been under the rule of the snake.     In heaven there is the realm of spirits, and on earth there is the realm of the flesh. The devil, the evil spirit of the snake is with the people on earth in the world of flesh.     God who is in heaven has been teaching the people on earth to make known what happened, and that is religion ( 宗敎 : teaching the utmost, what is shown by heaven*).   God has His throne (Rv 4), and the devil has his throne (Rv 13, Rv 16). So, two kinds of spirits came to be. There is the heavenly spirit and the spirit of the world, that is, the holy spirit of God and the evil spirit of the devil that is the snake (Satan, the dragon)....

Wise Question and Wise Answer 1

W ise Question 1 How can you prove God’s existence? ==================================  Why doesn’t God clearly reveal himself? ==================================       Seeing oneself is evidence of God’s existence.  God does not reveal himself to people because God and men have become enemies. There are two kinds of gods or spirits:  G od the creator, who is life, and an evil spirit, who is a created being. Each kind of god has a ‘parent-god’ and a ‘child-god’. The god who exists within a person is the ‘child-god’. A person (body) is like the house for a god. God is a spirit and the soul is life.   Even if the god leaves, a person is still able to breathe and live because he has a soul.   However, when both the God and the soul leave, that person dies. However, even when the body dies, the spirit is still alive. We cannot know God if we do not know about religion.   Man (Adam), who was create...
