The trumpet sounds in Revelation chapters 8 and 9 are not trumpets blown by people, but signal the sound of judgment.

As the angel swore in Revelation Chapter 10, the last "7th trumpet" will be blown in Revelation Chapter 11. 

This final, seventh trumpet is said to make the world into the kingdom of God. Shouldn't anyone who wishes for the kingdom of God know this seventh trumpet?
